The Heretic’s Trinity is a three-part ritual for unholy disobedience. Apostasy, Blasphemy, and Desecration chart the fall from forbidden thought, to blasphemy spoken aloud, to sacrilegious action. Citrus and lavender crack open a darkened chapel; incense and resins turn devotion into desire; gingered lemon and burning woods carry you through the ruins. Wear them as a sequence, a daily mood, or a spell for whatever part of your rebellion you’re in: the idea, the confession, or the act.
Apostasy ~ The Thought
The first sin is always an idea.
• Opens like light piercing into a dark chapel: cool bergamot and herbal lavender, clear and cleansing.
• Softens into honeyed lavender, golden ylang ylang, a spectral rose, and a wisp of incense on stone.
• Dries down to creamy sandalwood, balsamic resins, shadowed amber and vanilla, like worn wood, candle smoke, and warm skin.
• Wear when: you’re starting to question what you were told to worship.
Blasphemy ~ The Word
When doubt finally speaks aloud.
• Bursts with sunlit sweet orange and silky cardamom, too bright for the thoughts underneath.
• Frankincense smoke and a shadow of myrrh rise, spices threading holy devotion with carnal desire.
• Settles into resin-soaked woods, benzoin, labdanum, vanilla, and dry vetiver earth.
• Wear when: you’re ready to say the unsayable and feel the sky not fall.
Desecration ~ The Act
Some altars aren’t meant for worship.
• Strikes with piercing lemon, fresh ginger, black pepper, and sweet orange: bright, sizzling ignition.
• Cools into aromatic spruce over lingering spice, crisp and slightly gin-like, like smoke in winter air.
• Resolves into dry cedar, glowing amber, and a smoked vanilla base, spiced cream warmed by the memory of destruction.
• Wear when: you are ready to walk forward and tear down what was built for you, amused by the ruin left behind.

How to Patch Test a Fragrance:
Before applying a new scent it’s important to patch test. Apply a small amount of the fragrance to a discreet area of your skin, commonly the inside of your wrist or elbow. Wait 24 hours without washing the area. If you experience redness, itching, or irritation, the product may not be a good fit for you. Patch testing helps ensures you and your skin stays healthy and irritation-free.
1. Gently Mix the Contents
Before opening, gently shake the vial for a couple seconds to ensure all components are evenly blended. Natural oils may separate slightly when not used for awhile.
2. Choose a Pulse Point
Apply the perfume oil to areas of the body where heat is naturally emitted. These locations help diffuse the scent more effectively. Recommended pulse points include:
Wrists
Behind the ears
Inner elbows
Backs of the knees
Collarbone
3. Apply to Skin
Lightly glide the rollerball across your selected pulse point or points, allowing the oil to transfer directly to the skin.
4. Allow to Absorb
Let the oil absorb naturally. You may gently pat the area with your fingertips to aid absorption, but avoid rubbing, which can alter the scent.
Tips for Best Results
After Bathing: For optimal absorption and longevity, apply the perfume oil after a warm shower or bath when the skin is clean and pores are open.
Do Not Rub: Avoid rubbing wrists or other areas after application. Friction can alter the balance of aromatic molecules, affecting the intended scent profile.
Conduct a Patch Test: If you have sensitive skin or allergies, apply a small amount to the inner forearm and observe for 24 hours before regular use.
Avoid Sensitive Areas: Do not apply near the eyes, inside the nostrils, or on broken or irritated skin.
Use Caution with Fabrics: The oil can be applied to clothing, but some blends may stain. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
